Natural Sciences

Natural Sciences play a very important role in our lives, but many people question what exactly they are and why they are important. Natural sciences are a part of science that specifically deal with our physical world. A few examples of this are physics, chemistry, and biology. Natural sciences enable us to help understand and learn more about the world surrounding us. Because of natural sciences we are able to constantly develop our knowledge of the world we live in. The scientific method is mainly based upon hypothesis and observations. Before starting an experiment, we will need to create a hypothesis to see if the experiment will or will not support this.

It is important that you come up with a hypothesis, ignoring the fact that it might be incorrect. The results of the experiment are compared with the hypothesis to see if they support it. Many experiments have been done by scientists int he past who have enabled us to learn about the world and discover new things each day. Natural sciences and the scientific method help us develop new technologies that can benefit everyone's everyday life.

September 27th, 2016. Our brain creates sense of what we see. It often tends to 'transform' what we hear, smell, see, or touch based on emotions, expectations, experiences, or even reasons. One's perception will always be different. Perception is different from reality. Everyone has their own perception of life. Perception is the lens through which we view reality; ourselves, other and the world around us. However, the lens often gets confused with what is being viewed through it. Reality is the true state of things. In reality, it is how things actually are, whether we recognise them to be as such or not. We often don't realise how our perceptions confuse reality. They seem like one and the same. The main point about perception and reality is that they are different yet connect with each other. What is language?

October 20th, 2016. How do we define language? Language is a method of human communication, which can either be written or spoken. This method is often used within its own community or country. Language also involves hand gestures, symbols, and visuals. Language is a tool of expression. Is it simply a pattern of symbols and sounds that communicates meaning? Yes it is. Even though, the letters within the word are missing or moved around, if the first and last letter are visual, the brain will automatically identify the word based on those letters. Body language is also a way of communicating and expressing your thoughts and feelings. People use several senses such as sight, touch, and sound to communicate with one another.
